I have worked in construction for over 30 years working in upwards of 140 homes which grew my passion to design and build.
After working on a farm as a young Amish boy from ages 13-16, I joined my family's masonry company, followed by their house framing company before starting my first roofing business with a friend.
I married my beautiful wife MaryAnn in 1989 and joined my Father-in-law's business building Amish furniture and custom cabinetry. 2 years later we bought his company and built quality furniture until we left the Amish culture 2 years later.
In 2001 we built our first custom home and started doing additions, built-ins, kitchens, and full home remodels. By 2005 we had built our second custom home and continued in the remodeling business.
By this time I saw my passion for interior remodeling and custom cabinetry. Nothing can beat seeing a place transformed and being apart of that process! This is how Richwood Design was birthed. Today, we continue to do home remodels, custom cabinetry, as well as house flipping.
